Background of the Customer
The client is a leading global automobile aftermarket and, through consolidation of its B2B/B2C service and spare parts businesses, has built a Service platform and a spare parts platform in the automotive aftermarket space to cover digital mobility, the trading of automobile parts, and 24/7 emergency breakdowns.
Key Objectives/Challenges
The Customer’s primary challenge was the need for a unified platform, more scalability of Application architecture, and the inability to handle peak traffic load (like click workload, B2C customers). Customers wanted to facilitate end-to-end transactions, increase their online presence, improve decision-making capabilities, and increase productivity.
Our Solution
- STL Digital developed a full-stack online-to-offline digital unified platform using the Application Modernization framework for full-stack architecture and deployed it on Google Cloud using Cloud Run and Google Kubernetes Engine.
- With multiple APIs to integrate, the solution on Google Cloud hosting could handle rigorous load testing, adhere to industry best practices, and ensure optimal performance.
