What the role entails (Key Responsibilities)

This position is an Expert Level IT professional in STL Digital’s Enterprise Application Service organization.

1. Leads the creation & presentation of estimates for overall cost, skill, effort & timeline for new & existing solutions and projects from a functional perspective

2. Refine Quality Management process scope, identifying any gaps when necessary.

3. Perform system demonstrations designed to showcase the existing standard SAP S/4HANA functionality and secure buy-in from customers, while identifying any gaps, and/or requirements.

4. Translate local business requirements into related configuration requirements and perform system set-ups in S/4 HANA to meet customer requirements.

5. Own the design, configuration and technical solution architecture in the areas of SAP QM.

6. Advise customers in their SAP transformation, using SAP Best Practices, standard out-of-the-box S4 HANA functionalities instead of custom-code.

7. Identify any Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows and/or any other development objects necessary to bridge requirements with SAP S/4HANA functionality through the creation of Functional Specification documentation. Interface effectively with developers to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications and the development of technical designs

8. Identify local security requirements and work with Security staff on the creation of security profiles necessary to support local needs

9. Perform field and value mappings associated with data conversion efforts

10. Perform demonstrations of the updated system, post build (Configuration and Development) activities to showcase the incorporation and validate localization requirements

11. Understanding trends and new developments in respective field, Specifically in S4 HANA and Cloud products

12. Develop Sales Collateral and thought leadership content focused on SAP

13. Actively work with Internal teams to develop pipeline for Quality Management service/solutions offerings within the Organization

14. Provide insight and thought leadership to develop innovative assets, including differentiation points of view and methodologies

15. Perform an advisory role on different projects that include SAP S/4 QM

16. Facilitate discovery sessions, design workshops (Explore), assessments, planning sessions for projects

17. Works with their direct reports team, project managers to plan, execute, test, pilot and rollout solutions and tools

18. Identifies & builds project teams via matrix support organizations to ensure appropriate skills & experience are represented for success

19. Lead & Deliver

20. Leads the functional design & management of new & existing solutions and tools

21. Monitors project progress & status to ensure quality, on-time, and on- budget delivery

22. Ensures compliance with standards, processes & best practices as established

23. Collaborates with peers to create roadmaps & plans

24. Demonstrates solutions to internal stakeholders and clients from C-level to end user with a focus on Quality Management

What we are looking for in you (Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility)

Experience in working as part of larger geographic teams and the ability to work in teams with different cultural backgrounds

– 10+ years of SAP/ERP work experience with at least 2 SAP S4 HANA greenfield/brownfield full lifecycle Implementations

– Detailed understanding of all Quality Management business processes, e.g., Quality Planning, Quality control, Quality Notifications, Quality Audits, Calibration, In-process SPC inspection

– Integration of quality gauges to record quality results

– Configure and test all quality management business processes

– Experience in integration with other modules (PP, MM, SD, PM)

– New S4H Features

– Fiori Apps: Identify SAP std available – Dev. of Custom Tiles – Analytical apps.

– Fiori: Activation required apps on Fiori Launchpad. Deep understanding of backend and frontend Fiori roles and data services

– Fiori: Work on CDS views (Master data and Transactional) for S/4HANA Embedded Operational Analytics.

– Must be system oriented & have an interest/ aptitude for developing skills in new applications.

– Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines Possesses in-depth skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience and internal recognition in specialty

– Ability to effectively lead & guide team, and coordinate the activity of external stakeholders at on-site and offshore locations.

– Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Good interpersonal skills

– Ability to operate in a team-oriented environment

– Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

– Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills

– Flexibility and willingness to manage significant travel depending on time of year.

Ability to travel (30%-40%)
